Ask for the legal company name, manufacturing address and the entity that will issue the quotation and invoice. Where trading and manufacturing entities differ, ask for a clear explanation of their roles rather than assuming either arrangement establishes quality.

Check the certificate independently
Request the current certificate and inspect the named location, scope, issuing body and validity information. Use the relevant official validity-check channel. IAOB's website directs buyers to the IATF Customer Portal when certificate validity is uncertain.
The published Hongdao quality page describes an IATF 16949 quality system for heat exchangers and condensers. Review the current document for your qualification process. Certification of a quality system is not evidence that every SKU meets every customer-specific performance requirement.
Connect the factory tour to your product
Ask which development and production steps apply to the proposed part and which are carried out elsewhere. The company profile describes development, tooling, molding, stamping, brazing, assembly and testing; a useful review checks the steps relevant to your application.
For a visit, agree the agenda in advance: product references, sample or drawing review, relevant processes and available inspection or traceability examples. Hongdao's Guangzhou factory visits are by appointment; confirm the location and route directly.
Make qualification part of the buying decision
Request a controlled specification, sample approval plan and order-specific inspection requirements. Agree how a batch will be identified and what evidence is needed for any later quality case.
