Build a useful trial list
Use customer requests, your sales records and the local vehicle applications you serve to choose the first references. Avoid presenting a general brand list as evidence of demand. Start with a manageable group whose applications you can verify.
- One reference and application per row
- Requested trial quantity and expected repeat demand
- Photos or drawings for unresolved fitment
- Required destination and requested delivery date
Ask how MOQ applies to the proposed order
Ask whether minimum quantities apply per reference, production batch, product family or packaging design. Confirm sample pricing and whether sample approval changes the production schedule. Do not assume that permission to combine categories removes per-SKU production requirements.
If a requested quantity cannot be accepted, ask for a revised quantity or staged plan in the written quotation. Availability, commercial terms and lead time need direct confirmation.
Agree packaging, acceptance and replenishment
Specify packaging labels, your internal stock codes and any private-label artwork for review. Confirm the proposed packing list and shipping arrangement separately from product approval.
Before repeat purchasing, review the trial against the agreed fitment, inspection, packaging and documentation requirements. Keep a record of open issues and the approved revision so the next order refers to the same definition.
