Connection interface
Confirm whether the evaporator uses a connection block or separate pipes, the port spacing and diameter, sealing method, pipe direction, and the interface used for the expansion valve or refrigerant lines.
Core and housing fit
Record core width, height, thickness, overall dimensions, tank form, bracket location, drainage or sensor provisions, and any foam or seals supplied with the sample.
Vehicle and HVAC variation
Match the OE reference with make, model, chassis, production period, engine, market, and air-conditioning configuration where known. Photos of both the removed part and the connection area are useful evidence.
